Finally! We are back online! After over a year of server issues we have finally found a host that can handle us. The great news is that there was almost no data loss even though we had two server crashes that wiped out the entire site. We will continue working on small bugs and layout improvements. If you find a bug please post it on the Site Bugs forum. Thanks!

I changed it to:
2d= put a brush above/beside the visible parts of you level, and apply the tool/skybox texture to all sides. it must look simular to this diagram

also you shouldn't leech other peoples photos. save it to a web space of your own and then link it

a 3d skybox? is that what you want?
http://www.adamowen.com/tut_skybox.htm there is another version of the tutorial
valve version http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Making_3D_Skyboxes

as for the texture, it should be there in the tools textures.
in texture browser window type in the word tools.
http://www.editlife.net/tutorials.php?id=35#toolsskybox <--looks like that

just type in the name of the sky
not the cl_ part it will show ingame not in hammer
